I think we can all agree that last year provided many ups and downs. But the good news is that 2020 is over and we have a fresh new year ahead of us to really focus on our goals.

Now is the time to look to nutrition for your health and not stress about weight management, which will come once your body is healthy and happy. You may not realise it, but much of your health stems from your gut and the community of bacteria living inside your large intestine (commonly known as the gut microbiome).

Science has shown us that what we eat influences our gut bacteria’s potential to produce beneficial and not-so-beneficial substances. This can then impact many areas of our health, from managing our appetites to supporting our immunity along with our mood and wellbeing.
