Back when I was a student, I used to fill my bag with things that may or may not have a significant use. On a daily basis, my humongous sack contained a stash of paper and pens, a DSLR camera, sometimes a laptop, an external hard drive, a system of chargers, and personal items including a lunch box.

I always thought, “I might need these later,” so I just keep stuffing my bag, but I never really get to use half of the items that day—not even in a week. It was definitely a lot to carry around, and with field work, I was practically harming my body. So you can just imagine the relief and joy I felt when I got my first smartphone.
