IT IS a truth universally acknowledged that the more sober the surroundings the more likely two oh-so-easily distracted girlfriends will surrender to genetically helpless giggling.

Immature? Yep. Irreplaceable? Absolutely.

Hands up, I offer no excuses. If only because my original intention, attending a Drive Yourself Round the Bend (Safely) Workshop, was on the right track. It’s no bad thing, I decided, to brush up on those manoeuvring skills I mastered decades ago. Fancy joining me, I suggested to City Wife?
