Our living can be compared to a motor cycle. The motor, two wheels, a handle, the horn, gears and then the road.
When the differences among people are at the highest, then it is the two separate wheels that just cannot come together. But then, both wheels work only, on one single motor. You need good balance to ride. The alertness must be on, how to steer the vehicle. Sometimes you may be tempted to be adventurous.
Young people do the wheelie act. That is, riding on any one wheel. But not for long. The motor cycle stabilizes on two wheels. The honking of the horn is essential, to express itself. A warning or caution to others, an announcement that you are also an equal participant on road. The road is the common platform. You may sanctify it. The road carries both the wheels of your motor cycle. It allows all the other vehicles to ride on it, too. If the alertness is on the road, while you ride, then you are safe. Similarly, the way that you live will be serene and sacred, if you relate to the common connect among all the people.
People attribute this state of togetherness to those who meditate and practice the breathing techniques. But then, like the two wheels that are distinct, we deal with divided entities. Our transactions are with entities that has their own unique existence. The motor and the road are common. But certainly and surely, the two wheels are separate and have to maintain the distance. The steerer and the handle is one single operation. But have to coordinate accurately with the speed and pace of the wheels. So, balancing and riding the motorcycle is a complex operation. One wheel is connected to a chain but the other wheel is free and not bound. The wheel that is bound by a chain to the motor, works in tandem with the free wheel. Both the wheels with diverse distinguishing features must work together.
