DJ Zinhle’s hot romance has become the source of speculation after her man, Brendon Naidoo, was accused of conning people.
EIGHT months ago he was relatively unknown. Then pictures of his hand started appearing on the Instagram account of one of the nation’s most popular celebrity DJs, along with an expensive watch and the name ‘Mr Bond’.
DJ Zinhle’s fans were instantly intrigued – who was this man who’d swept the 33-year-old DJ off her feet and who’d healed her broken heart?
After all, Zinhle had suffered public hea r tache after her messy break-up with rapper AKA, the father of her 21-month-old daughter, Kairo. It must be someone truly special to have helped her get over the hurt she’d endured.
For some time DJ Zinhle, born Ntombezinhle Jiyane, kept people guessing as to who ‘Mr Bond’ was. One thing was crystal clear though: she was in love.
DRUM eventually revealed last year (DJ Zinhle’s new man, 22 September 2016) that the person she was showing off on Instagram was 32-year-old businessman Brendon Naidoo.
“I am in a very happy space, that’s all I can say,” Zinhle told us then.
For months fans reveled in her happiness but now it seems many are concerned about claims that Brendon is a con man.
On 31 March, a case of fraud was opened at Sandton police station against Brendon for allegedly embezzling millions from retired teachers through a fraudulent Forex trading scheme. And when DRUM spoke to those claiming Brendon has stolen from them, we found people who were furious that they’d allegedly been duped.
