February at Brandon Country Park finds manager David Falk and the team planning an exciting year of reasons to visit
WE’RE huddled around a small table, sipping morning coffees, bouncing ideas with wild abandon. We laugh at way-out suggestions, consider some new ideas, contemplate what others might be doing. We’ve spread out a year planner across a table, decided what went well last year, what to repeat, and what could do done differently. This is event planning at Brandon Country Park. And it’s fun!
In the world of visitor attractions, events are your shop window, they showcase who you are. There’s a famous line in a famous film that goes something like “if you build it, they will come”. I think that was about a baseball stadium – no plans for that here – but get the event right and they will definitely come.
