Wentworth Miller finds himself imprisoned again as Prison Break returns after an eight-year gap.
It’s been eight years since Michael Scofield was seemingly electrocuted in the Prison Break series finale, but this week the tattooed jailbird returns to our screens in a nine-part reboot of the US drama on FOX.
As the action begins, Michael (Wentworth Miller) is inexplicably alive, sporting a new set of tattoos and once again behind bars. But this time, the former Fox River inmate finds himself locked up in a Yemeni prison after becoming involved in the war on terror, and is desperate to get home to his family.
Among the returning cast is Sarah Wayne Callies as Michael’s wife Sara, Dominic Purcell as his brother Lincoln, plus Robert Knepper as fellow escapee T-Bag and Paul Adelstein as secret service agent Paul Kellerman.
We caught up with Miller to hear his reasons for Michael’s unexpected return…
