A lecturer’s accusation of cheating has fatal consequences in ITV’s menacing drama
A simple dispute over a university essay quickly escalates into a bitter – and deadly – feud in this tense psychological thriller from the team that brought us The Missing and Liar.
The story follows lecturer Dr Leah Dale, whose decision to fail a student, Rose Vaughan, for cheating causes the youngster to begin a twisted campaign of revenge that threatens to wreck their lives.
With former Coronation Street favourite Katherine Kelly leading the cast, the dark drama looks set to captivate viewers as it plays out in four gripping episodes over the week.
‘The script is amazing,’ says Kelly, 39, who plays Leah. ‘I read the whole series in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down. There are some very big twists that I didn’t see coming. It explores what being a cheat really means.’
POWER STRUGGLE
The role of accused student Rose is played by rising star Molly Windsor.
