Helen McCrory on this week’s shocking revelations in MotherFatherSon
Helen McCrory has never shied away from challenging roles, from a gangland matriarch in Peaky Blinders to a forthright humanrights lawyer in Fearless. Her latest performance as troubled Kathryn Villiers in BBC2 drama MotherFatherSon is no exception.
‘I was so keen to play the role that I gatecrashed the auditions,’ McCrory laughs. ‘The series looks so superbly at the chaos of life. There are so many different layers.’
