The Time Lord finds a new ally against the cybermen – as missy and the master join forces in a terrifying series finale…
Last week’s Doctor Who gave viewers some major cliffhangers. On board the giant Mondas spaceship, Bill had been seemingly shot dead then turned into a Mondasian Cyberman, thanks to scruffy scientist ‘Mr Razor’.
Viewers then discovered Mr Razor’s true identity when he crept up on Missy and revealed himself to be the Master, played by a returning John Simm – the evil Time Lord she’d regenerated from.
So there are plenty of conundrums to resolve in the climax of the thrilling two-parter – also the series finale – as it plays out this week.
‘This has been a fantastic series, and we’ve given everyone plenty of surprises – the shock factor in this series has been greater than ever,’ says Peter Capaldi, who leaves in the upcoming Christmas special.
