Hollywood star Sharon Stone on her new murder-mystery whodunit and screen comeback after a devastating stroke
Directed by Oscar-winner Steven Soderbergh, Sky Atlantic murder-mystery Mosaic sees the Basic Instinct actress play Olivia Lake, a successful but lonely children’s author who goes missing from her picturesque rural town in Utah and is found dead years later.
The six-parter uses flashbacks to follow the run-up to the murder, before the police arrive at the truth.
Suspects include handsome struggling artist Joel (Garrett Hedlund), who rents out space in Olivia’s home, as well as charming stranger Eric (Frederick Weller), who, unbeknown to Olivia, is a con artist hired by a neighbour to help force her to sell the property.
We met up with Stone in Los Angeles to hear more…
How would you describe your character, Olivia?
