Ronnie O’Sullivan arrives at the Crucible this week in a rich vein of form as he seeks a sixth world title.
Mark Williams is defending his crown, but O’Sullivan is the bookies’ favourite after returning to the top of the world rankings for the first time since 2010. His victory over Neil Robertson to win the Tour Championship saw the Rocket tie Stephen Hendry’s record of 36 ranking titles, and he will get the chance to break that in Sheffield.
