All Round to Mrs Brown’s and Mrs Brown’s Boys are a real family affair.

The show’s creator, Brendan O’Carroll – aka Agnes Brown – is married in real life to Jennifer Gibney, best known as Agnes’ put-upon daughter Cathy, and ‘Mammy’ is also in fact ‘Daddy’ to Danny O’Carroll, who plays Buster Brady. And Buster’s sidekick, Mrs Brown’s son Dermot, is played by Danny’s reallife best friend Paddy Houlihan!
