Corrie heads to court this week for the trial of Anna Windass, who has been framed by archenemy, Pat Phelan, for trying to kill Seb Franklin. The scheming Scouser has set her up, but the slippery soap legal system is notorious for jailing the innocent!
As Anna enters the dock this Friday, TV Times goes inside the sensational soap trial to ponder the fate of the main players. What does the future hold beyond the upcoming courtroom drama?
‘Anna is a very strong woman, and she’ll be fighting till the end,’ says actress Debbie Rush, who is soon to depart after a decade in the role. ‘There’s unfinished business between her and Phelan and we’ve let it gently boil until this crescendo.’
