Every spring, a mother polar bear and her cubs emerge from their den, hungry and determined to survive.
This awakening is the first step in an epic 400-mile journey of survival, in which they must outsmart ferocious males, prepared to kill the cubs to mate with their mother, and meet a range of characters including reindeer, narwhales, walruses and Arctic foxes. And that’s before they begin the treacherous swim to the seal-rich pack ice surrounding the North Pole…
