This Morning’s Rylan Clark-Neal on his new game show that changes lives with the help of huge amounts of cash and a set of Russian dolls
This Morning star and Big Brother’s Bit on the Side host Rylan Clark-Neal tells TV Times he’s in his element presenting ITV’s crazy new high-stakes game show Babushka, starting this week.
‘I love working with the public – I still feel like I’m a contestant a lot of the time,’ admits Rylan, 28, who shot to fame on ITV’s The X Factor. ‘That’s why I really want the couples on this show to walk away with the maximum cash prize, which is £44,000.’
Every week on Babushka one couple – a husband and wife, two friends or perhaps a mother and daughter – are given the chance to open a series of giant Russian ‘Babushka’ dolls to win big.
‘It’s a bit like Deal or No Deal,’ explains Rylan. ‘You don’t have to be really clever to play Babushka, you’ve just got to be lucky and know how far to push that luck!’ Here Rylan tells us more…
