After more false starts than your average Grand National, Tracy finally goes into labour and gives birth to a baby girl. But the new arrival isn’t the only cause for celebration – for the emotional day also leads to new dad Nate bonding with his own father, Cain, when, for so long, a close relationship between the pair seemed unthinkable.

Cain and Nate have slowly built bridges since that dramatic day in 2019 when Cain discovered that the handsome farmer – Moira’s secret lover – was his son. So Nate is anxious when he and Tracy are trusted to look after Cain’s kids, Kyle and Isaac, while the mechanic and Moira have a night away – what if he messes up?
