Their friendship is one of the most enduring in Coronation Street – but it looks like the days of Michelle and Carla putting the world to rights over a couple of bottles of Pinot Grigio are long gone, when Chelle discovers that her best pal has got down and dirty with her son Ali.

The big discovery happens at a dinner party Michelle has thrown for her nearest and dearest – but it’s not the only shock coming her way, as Carla later drops the bombshell that Michelle’s fiance, Robert, is taking steroids.

How does Carla feel about Ali at this point – does she really like him or is he just a bit of fun?

Alison: She wasn’t looking for anything with Ali, but she is a bit sex-starved, and after the fling with Daniel, there hasn’t been anyone else. He’s good to talk to, he’s a grown-up man now, he’s fit and she’s a red-blooded girl. I think she just gave in when it was on offer!

Does she worry about how Michelle will react if she finds out?
