Now that’s just what you don’t want in your first week in a cool new job – your boyfriend turning up unannounced with your toddler in tow. But that’s what happens to Lauren when she starts her dream photography post in Canary Wharf.

The job, just in case you need reminding, is in the tall, shiny building where Josh – the Clark Kent look alike who has turned Lauren’s head – works. Though it’s just a short tube ride from Walford, the place feels like a million miles away. No talk of bin collections here – ‘client interfacing’ and ‘blue-sky thinking’ are the buzzwords.
