Ryan Wilkins

Most of us had the luxury of living, playing, and dreaming when we were children. As we grew older, we recognized what we needed to do as responsible adults would. Ryan went beyond his personal dreams and studied computer science for he understood the current needs in our modern world. After all the hard work, it is now time to live his dreams.

the interview: 

AMM - What is it like to have a birthday on July 3rd? 

Ryan - I tell you this. The one good thing about having a July 3rd birthday is (at least in my experience) that it’s a date that is hard for anyone to forget because they associate it very closely to the 4th. Also makes pretty easy to plan a cool getaway because it probably wouldn’t matter where you go, there’d be something to get into.

AMM - Did you like to draw and work out at a young age? 

Ryan - Yes. I’ve been drawing since I could pick up a pencil. I caught the bug to workout before I hit my teens actually. My father was a drill sergeant in the military and I remember many nights when he would do push ups with me on his back. In middle school I would do push ups every night before showering and going to bed.

AMM - Do you have a favorite superhero character? 

Ryan - You kidding me lol.. What 80’s baby doesn’t have a superhero?...haha.. Collossus is still my all time favorite superhero. Im ready for him to get his own movie at this point. He being able to cloak himself in basically a steel-clad bulletproof vest and have superhuman strength was great. Plus he could easily revert back to normal human form at will. He could easily blend in and live a normal human life if he wanted to.

AMM - What inspired you to major in computer science at Fayetteville State University?
