And now I know how to say apa khabar, and terima kasih for when I do make my way down to Malaysia someday!" chimes Lucy Hale, after we recorded clips of her for our video interview. We were in Downtown Los Angeles, and she had flown in the night before from New York for our photoshoot. "I've never been to Malaysia, but I would love to," she tells me, her eyes sparkled with excitement at the thought of travelling down. "I feel travel is so important and there are so many places I would like to go to, and Malaysia is definitely on the list!" The sprightly brunette had just concluded her run playing Melanie, a sassy, sharp-witted millennial, in the much anticipated supernatural horror film, Fantasy Island, out in theaters this month, and was in the midst of playing the lead role of Katy, in the upcoming Riverdale spinoff, Katy Keene.
