When given the same question she had asked her husband Sen. Chiz Escudero in their now viral video, “Adulting 101 with Sen. Chiz Escudero,” (with two million hits!): “What do you think is your purpose in life?” Heart responds with her own words of wisdom: “I don’t think we should pressure ourselves with the [pursuit of the whys.] Wala ng purpose-purpose. I believe that as long as you love what you do, you’re not a bad person, and if you happen to inspire one person along the way that’s fulfilling already,” she smiles.

And there’s definitely some truth to the matter.

It’s not uncommon; the pressure of seeking one’s purpose can sometimes paralyze people into doing nothing, so Heart is redirecting her energy from pursuing that elusive answer to simply embracing every path before her. She has found that with every door of opportunity that she opens, it leads to new and exciting adventures that take her further than she had ever imagined.
