Going With The Times
WOW Singapore|Issue 67
The pandemic made huge changes to our sense of style and clothing; the lockdown periods we suffered made us truly appreciate the outdoors a little bit more. I, for one, found greater love for outdoor wear to match my love for cycling and hiking.

Going With The Times

And this sense of comfort and familiarity has even eroded the need for more formal attire at work. Some of us have even given up on ties and jackets thanks to casual wear gaining prominence after the era of Zoom meetings.

One of the watches that really came into my scope and fit our re-envisioned philosophies of daily living is the Rado Captain Cook Over-Pole. I felt that even as air travel is now (mostly) open on a global scale, I just needed something more rugged and sporty to match my style. As leather shoes give way to sneakers and suits give way to t-shirts and denim, the watch comes onto the wrist in a sportier form. True enough, while I still retain the use of my fitness bands for more physical activities, I reached out for an all-in-one timepiece that matched my revamped closet and can potentially also follow me on my travels as I cross continents.
