Spring is in the air, the days are getting longer and, after a short winter break, Gardeners' World is returning to our television screens. The programme is back - each episode a full hour - and it's going to be even bigger and better. Due to popular demand, the run has been extended to 40 hours throughout the year - the most ever.
Monty and the team return for the first episode on Friday 11 March, at 8pm on BBC2, and the series runs right through until November - but that's not all. The programmes that aired in the run-up to Christmas 2021 proved such a success that four more

We'll be hearing from passionate gardeners, including hairstylist to the stars, Sam McKnight, who shares his love of dahlias with Rachel de Thame have been commissioned, to bring a little gardening joy and festive sparkle to brighten up the winter months.

July is an island floating between the joy of June and the slightly fatigued month of August.
