When it comes to kitting out your greenhouse, the world is your gardening oyster but here’s a small selection of items to whet your appetite

TOOL UP

A lot of work you do in the greenhouse – especially in the spring – revolves around sowing seeds in pots and trays, taking care of seedlings, and moving seedlings on into bigger pots. In which case, there are a few small tools that you may find very handy. Compost scoops like the one in our product review are especially useful, enabling you to transfer your compost without dropping any, as you often do when you transfer it by hand. A dibber (used for creating holes in compost) and a widger (for teasing out young seedlings for potting on) are also useful tools to have at your disposal, along with labels and pens.
