Claudia jovanovski is your quintessential bikini competitor. you can easily picture her in skimpy outfits somewhere in an exotic location, looking confident and oozing sexiness.
Our current Muscle Evolution Babe grew up in Cape Town before making the big move to Sydney in Australia. In a period of only 13 months, the 23-year-old has become a rising star in the fitness industry, walking away with two Pro Cards and two World titles. We chatted with Claudia about how she trains to get stage-ready, her hopes and dreams, and her dirty little habits.
Claudia, would you please give us the low-down on who this rising Bikini superstar is?
I was born and raised in Cape Town before I moved to Sydney, Australia. I have been weight training and competing for just over a year now and have managed to earn two Pro Cards and two World titles in a period of just 13 months. I frequently travel between SA and Australia, but no matter where I am I love being outdoors, especially on the beach. Most of my cardio I do outdoors. I enjoy walking down to a local cafe with my dogs over the weekends to enjoy a healthy breakfast, and I also like a hot yoga session. I unwind in the evenings by cooking a nice meal while I listen to my favourite music.
What is life like in Australia?
Both South Africa and Australia are extremely beautiful countries and that is the reason I go back and forth so often. A few of the positives of living in Australia include the power of the currency, safety and numerous career opportunities.
How did you get into the fitness scene and what made you start training?
I always wanted to compete but I assumed that I could never achieve the fitness look I saw among the competitors on stage. Last year I decided to join a gym that specialises in body building and within a few months, with some hard training under my belt, I was up on stage competing. It is truly amazing how quickly the body adapts and changes.
How was your recent WBFF SA experience, where you won your Pro Card?
