You really want pizza but you’re camping out. Or you’re stuck in a shared house and the oven is really grim. Worse, there is no pizza delivery available! Problem solved, says Yeshi Dolma.
I live in northern India. Sometimes we experience power cuts that last a few hours; and these usually occur right when I’m using the oven. Last time, the power cut out right when I was making pizza for dinner, however, I was able to save it by finishing it on the stove.
Making pizza on a hob or stovetop might not seem like an essential skill but it can prove useful when the oven is on the blink. We have a gas stove, but pizza can be made just as easily on an electric hob. The technique can also easily be adapted for use on the camp stove or barbeque — perfect if you are camping out but just want a pizza!
