Schachenmayr Baby Smiles Bravo Baby (100% acrylic, 50g/184m) 1 ball of Confetti Print (00181)

Leather punch

A 2.75mm (US C/2) hook

Denim 65x45cm

Scrap pieces of denim (see Notes)

Cushion pad, 45x45cm

Tension is not critical, but it may affect the yarn quantities required

MEASUREMENTS

Cushion measures 45x45cm (17¾x17¾in)

Even the smallest bits of denim can have a second chance as a hexagon or triangle in this stellar piece of homeware. Keep it simple with offcuts from the same denim garment, or mix it up with lighter and darker washes.

NOTES

Cushion is made up of 2 pieces. The Back is made from a single square of denim and the front is made up of 23 Hexagons and 44 Triangles.

You will need approx 75x75cm of denim in total to cut shapes from. Each shape should be cut from the fabric using the Templates on page 96. Holes are punched around the edge of each shape and crochet borders are worked into the holes.
