IEVA OZOLINA: Bright Patterns Scarf

This modern colourwork scarf uses traditional Latvian knitting motifs

USING MOTIFS commonly found in traditional Latvian knitting and textiles, Ieva Ozolina has created this vibrant colourwork scarf. It's knitted in the round using four contrasting shades of pure 4ply wool from Hobbywool; we have suggested a good alternative in our information panel if you are not able to find this yarn.

SCARF

Using waste yarn, cast on 100 sts, then pick up and knit 100 sts using yarn A. Pm and join to work in the rnd, taking care not to twist sts.

Now working chart for colourwork pattern (reading chart from right to left), work the chart a total of 7 times. Finish with 2 rounds of yarn A.
