When Angela, Chris and their children, Ruby, 12, and Charlie, 11, moved back to Australia in 2015 after living in New York, they brought back much more than their suitcases. They returned with precious memories of seven summers’ worth of holidays on Nantucket, an idyllic haven off Cape Cod and a favoured getaway for New Yorkers. “It’s a great lifestyle,” says Angela. “People have a holiday home or rent the same house every year and meet up with their ‘summer friends’. We adored Nantucket so much we wanted to recreate that vibe and live in it permanently.”
