A good night’s sleep is incredibly important for your health. In fact, it’s just as important as eating healthy and exercising. It’s like a battery recharging, the battery being our brain. Sleep isn’t merely a time when your body shuts off. The quality of your sleep directly affects your mental and physical health and the quality of your waking life, including your productivity, emotional balance, brain and heart health, immune system, creativity, vitality, and even your weight. The amount of sleep required varies according to age. Newborns require almost 16 - 18 hours & the requirement decreases as one grows older. Teenagers require 9 hours & adults require an average of 7-8 hours. The Elderly require 6-7 hours.

THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING A MATTRESS
Types of maTTresses There are broadly five types of mattresses available in India:
Coir mattresses: Coir or coconut fiber is fiber from the husk of coconuts. Among other uses, it is used as a natural bedding material. Generally, coir is used in the middle and upper layers of mattresses to provide support or responsive softness by adding more or less density of the material.
Spring mattresses: A traditional spring mattress doesn’t adjust or feel differently based on body temperature unless they come topped with memory foam. The top layer of a spring mattress is generally known as the comfort layer, and some companies with add memory foam to enhance the perceived comfort, support, and quality of the mattress.
