IIID BIHAR MUSEUM Opolis Architects

IIID Delhi organised a wonderful event on the famous Bihar Museum in Patna - designed by the famous architectural firm Maki and Associates, Tokyo - along with _Opolis Architects, Mumbai.

The event included an interesting talk by architects Rahul Gore aWnd Sonal Sancheti - and was followed by a guided walkthrough of the exhibition on display.

The event started with the traditional “lighting of the lamp” ceremony - which was done by the Office Bearers of the IIID-DRC Managing Committee, along with the two speakers and Chiranjiv Singh of CJ Living. Next was a welcome by IIID-DRC Jt. Secretary Swanzal Kak Kapoor and was followed by an address by IIID-DRC Chairman Hemant Sud and Chairman Elect Rishu Anand.

The talk on the design philosophy behind the Bihar Museum was commenced by Rahul Gore - and halfway through the presentation, he handed over to Sonal Sancheti. The presentation was followed by an interesting and interactive Q&A session - before the start of the guided tour of the Exhibition.
