THERE IS ABSOLUTELY no shame at all in losing your hair. So your mane may not look as good as it did before, but nobody’s judging. Hair loss can begin as soon as you hit puberty, and about a fifth of all men experience significant loss by the time they turn 20. It happens but when one door closes, another opens. Here’s how you can fix it.

How can you tell?

Thinning at the temples and a receding hairline are dead giveaways. To the naked eye, an early diagnosis can be difficult and you probably won’t panic until nearly half your hair is gone. That’s the tipping point. But it is possible to spot it before you get there. What it requires is an active monitoring of changes in hair texture and weight. If you think you’re starting to shed larger clumps of hair, go to a professional to make sure you’re not just seeing things.
