The Oberoi Udaivilas, Udaipur
Situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, this majestic property has served as the destination for many Bollywood movies, as well as played host to some of the most opulent, A-list celebrity weddings. Built over nearly 400 years, this grand marble and sandstone structure is a testimony to the fine Rajasthani craftsmanship and Oberoi’s modern practicality, offering the best of both worlds.
Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur
Part of the residence of the current Maharaja of Jodhpur, Gaj Singh, this luxury hotel is run by the Taj Group. It was commissioned by Maharaja Umaid Singh to provide employment to his people, and designed by Edwardian architect Henry Lanchester. After 13 years of extensive work, the palace was unveiled in 1942 as the sixth-largest private residence in the world. This luxurious property was the wedding destination for Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas's wedding in 2018.
Taj Rambagh Palace, Jaipur
The most luxurious address in the Pink City, the Rambagh Palace was built in 1835 and has served as a hunting lodge, a royal guest house, and, originally, as the residence of the queen’s favourite handmaiden, Kesar Badaran. Restored to its yesteryear glory and run by the Taj Group of Hotels, the property boasts well-appointed suites and impeccable service. The intricately-carved marble façade, elaboratelymanicured gardens, and plush interiors make it an oasis of luxury in the midst of an urban city.
Ahilya Fort, Maheshwar
