Team unity played its part in yet another demolition derby as Celtic travelled to Ibrox and showed their quality CELTIC brushed aside Glasgow rivals Rangers once more in the sixth game this season with a stunning 5-1 victory at Ibrox, a result that highlights the abundance of quality possessed by the six-in-a-row champions.

First on the scoresheet was Scott Sinclair who fired the Hoops ahead from the penalty spot after seven minutes, and hot on his heels was Leigh Griffiths with a sublime strike to double Celtic’s lead. In the second-half, the rout continued as Callum McGregor, Dedryck Boyata and Mikael Lustig sealed the game in style to extend the Hoops’ unbeaten domestic run to 42 games.

Amid all the post-match celebrations at Ibrox on Saturday with fans and players dancing jigs of joy, the Celtic View caught up with skipper Scott Brown, scorer, Leigh Griffiths and Young Player of the Year, Kieran Tierney to find out their reaction to the totally comprehensive overturning of their city rivals.

KIERAN TIERNEY

It was brilliant from start to finish. Like in the semi-final we were dominant and the better team so we got the rewards and more goals this week.

There was only going to be one winner but you can never think like that as you have to go at 100 per cent all of the time and keep pressing the ball from the start of the game until the end.
