Henrik Was Everyone's Hero

Kieran Tierney chooses that ‘chip’ as his favourite Larsson goal.

KIERAN Tierney was born just over a month before Henrik Larsson arrived at Paradise, but grew up with stories of Celtic’s Super Swede and his goal scoring exploits in the green and white Hoops.

Before long, the youngster was cheering on the Celts, and Larsson in particular while also harbouring dreams of one day wearing that special jersey himself.

His hero from that era was actually Bobo Balde, a bold and probably unusual choice, given the array of talented attackers in Celtic’s ranks, but Tierney always knew who the top Bhoy was.
