Coping with the on-going virus pan-demic has been a unique experience for all of us. And each person, in his or her own way, has found a way to kill time within the confines of the house. Many have been in a state of anxiety and stress with media reports adding to the panic. Some have dared to venture out from time to time to either buy groceries or medicine or simply to get a feel of what’s happening outside. When I look back to these three weeks of social distancing, here’s how I diffused any kind of anxiety attack to get through this challenging time.
We are fortunate to live in an age when digital transformation is the new norm. During this period, the internet has emerged as the biggest infotainment and entertainment source through the smartphone or the laptop. The various apps have provided yeoman service in terms of remaining connected with friends and family as also keeping pace with the latest news from around the world or watching films and videos or even indulging in gaming. Here are some of the things I engaged with to keep myself occupied.
