Three properties under the Pan Pacific Hotels Group can be found cosying up to each other on Beach Road, just across from Kampong Glam. One of them is Parkroyal Serviced Suites Singapore, where we checked in for a stay recently. Here’s what took our fancy.
Stone’s throw from Haji Lane
Everyone keeps a checklist of favourite places they take family members or other visitors to in Singapore, and Haji Lane is on many of those lists. Rightly so. It’s quirky and colourful, great for shopping by day, and eating and drinking by night. Distance from the Parkroyal? About a 30-second walk.
Being so close to Haji means you can easily explore the whole of Kampong Glam. I enjoyed an early-morning wander around the Sultan Mosque area, including a breakfast of prata at famous restaurant Zam Zam (more than a century old!).
