Simple hair and skin fixes to glow and show
Glamming up for the festive season can sometimes take a toll on your hair and skin. Here are answers to some commonly occurring problems.
1 With the diwali season around, one has to get prepared for late night events and parties. how does one tackle bags under the eyes?
A: The eye bags could be due to loss of sleep or if you have overdone a bit of the cocktails at a party. In any case, they make you look tired and sluggish. You could choose one of these remedies:
Chill two slices of cucumber in the fridge and place one on each eye for about 10-15 minutes. It will reduce the puffiness.
Chill two slices of raw potato in the fridge and place one on each eye for about 10-15 minutes.
Dip two chilled pieces of cotton in rosewater and place one on each eye for 10-15 minutes.
You could also substitute the above with chilled, used tea bags. It works to reduce the puffiness and will also keep the skin around the eye hydrated. Caffeine constricts the blood vessels that contribute to the swelling of the eyes.
