30 Best Bars India 2022 - The Definitive Ranking Of India's 30 Best Bars

India's premier bar ranking and awards platform, 30BestBarsIndia, unveiled the ranking of India's best bars for 2022 at a packed awards show at the Le Meridien Gurgaon on January 17th. The ranking was done through a rigorous polling process that started with a long list of over 500 bars spread across more than 12 cities, and involved multiple jury processes. Mumbai and NCR went neck and neck as far as the number of bars in the Top 10 ranking, each city contributing 4 bars. The Top 30 list, for the first time, feature bars from cities like Jaipur and Kolkata.

INDIA'S 30 BEST BARS REVEALED

Delhi's Sidecar regains the top spot in the 30Best BarsIndia 2022 ranking. Four bars from Mumbai, four from NCR, and one each from Goa and Bangalore feature in the top 10 list this year

At the 30BestBarsIndia (30BB) ranking this year, South Delhi's Sidecar came out on top, reclaiming its position as the country's best bar, after dethroning the now-shut and last year's numero uno, Bar Tesouro in Goa. The fact that Sidecar, along with four other bars, also made it to the Asia's 50 Best Bars list - Sidecar ranked #16 on it - earlier last year, is a testament to 30BB's efforts and the fact that it has grown to become a coveted industry standard. On January 17th the award show's 2022-2023 edition unfolded at Le Méridien Gurgaon to much fanfare, amid the alcohol industry's luminaries.

The night also saw Copitas at the Four Seasons Bengaluru, climb a place to secure the runner-up spot, while Home (New Delhi), Lair (New Delhi), The Bombay Canteen (Mumbai), and Comorin (Gurgaon) followed suit. For Mumbai bars, specifically, this year's edition was a win, with Americano, Slink & Bardot, and The Living Room by Masque claiming #NoX, #NOX and #NoX positions, respectively and The Bombay Canteen grabbing XYZ award.

Co-curated by MW and Tulleeho, the rankings bring in a nationwide jury of over 250 bar enthusiasts, beverage industry professionals, and liquor connoisseurs, who poll across a stringent three-month process focused on the service, design, ambience, bar menu, bartending team, etc. of 500 nominations spread across 15 cities.
