Three's A Crowd: Getting Intimate After The Baby

IF I were to ask you what is it about being in love that you remember most, what would you say? For some, it’s that longing to be with their partners; for others, it’s that desire to have open and honest communication; there are still some who perhaps, can’t really keep their hands off of each other while the lucky few who do know what being in a committed relationship really means, enjoys the best of all these dynamics.

In any relationship, however, there are some aspects that go hand-in-hand— communication and intimacy. The fact remains, neither one can survive without the other. Now, if you and your partner do enjoy that marital bliss, have struck a balance between your individual lives and that much-needed alone ‘intimate’ time, things will get out of hand the moment the baby arrives. It’s just the natural order of things. Don’t be surprised at the lack of romance because physical and emotional exhaustion has put a damper on things. Having a baby can can put a strain on any relationship, given that your body clock is ruled by the needs of a newborn.
