Ducati is to motorcycles what Ferrari are to motorcars, a legendary Italian vehicle builder with an undisputed pedigree in motor racing and has been the dominant manufacturer in the World Superbike Championships. Yet for all its history in producing high performance sports motorcycles it’s only in the last 15 years that Ducati has been successful in the mainstream market with less sports-oriented models, first with the Monster naked bike, then the Diavel power cruiser.
