THE TV PRESENTER HAS MADE A SURPRISE EMOTIONAL FAMILY REVELATION

Lisa Wilkinson is a proud mother to her three young adult children: daughter Billi and sons Jake and Louis. However, The Project host has just made the shock revelation that she and husband Peter FitzSimons have also recently 14 had another ‘family’ member in their lives – their son Louis’ English girlfriend, Kia Joan Rosina.

Last week, Lisa, 60, took to her Instagram page to share the heartbreaking news that Kia has been forced to return to her home in the UK because the recent pandemic had disrupted her plans for gaining employment sponsorship in Australia.

The veteran presenter posted a family photo with Kia, 26, explaining that she had been a part of their lives over the past two and a half years – “and quickly became family”.

“Two and a half years ago, this incredible woman entered our lives while on holidays from the UK, and quickly became family,” wrote Lisa. “Last night, with breaking hearts, and because that rotten COVID got in the way of her sponsorship with her employer, we had to say goodbye as she headed back to her other home,” Lisa added.

And it appears Kia made quite an impression on the Wilkinson-FitzSimons household – with Lisa graciously crediting her for teaching her “the simple joys”.
