Byron Bay has long been known for its celebrity population, over which the Hemsworth acting dynasty presides – until Australia’s own Queen of Hollywood, Nicole Kidman, arrived in town, that is.

New Idea has learnt that Chris and Liam have rolled out the red carpet for Nic, who will be in town over the next six months filming the miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers.

We’re told the brothers are intent on wooing Nicole, 53, while she’s in the neighbourhood given her powerful contacts with the industry’s best casting agents and production companies.

“Liam and Chris feel that starring in a film with Nicole would skyrocket their careers – especially Liam’s, which has been rather slow lately – into the stratosphere,” says a source. “Nicole has the Midas touch and they want a part of it. Liam, in particular, plans to make her feel very welcomed.”
