THE SUNRISE STAR IS READY FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER

Eight years after she replaced Sunrise’s longstanding co-host Melissa Doyle, Samantha Armytage has hinted that she too is ready for a new adventure.

In a recent interview, Sam, 44, confessed she could “easily” depart the hit morning show when asked if she was planning on retiring to her Southern Highlands farm with new husband, Richard Lavender.

“Oh yeah, I think down the track I could,” she told radio stars Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson on-air last week.

The presenter went on to admit she often thinks about life outside of the show, revealing she doesn’t see herself needing the rush of live TV forever.
