CALGARY STAMPEDE

GROS MORNE NATIONAL PARK

A UNESCO world heritage site, the Gros Morne National Park is located on the west coast of Newfoundland and derives its name from Newfoundland’s second highest mountain peak. Remotest of many of Canada’s most popular national parks, the Gros Morne National Park is a place to explore for its beautiful landscape of mountains and fjords. The park features steep cliff walls, waterfalls and interesting rock formations carved by the glacierfed waters, which are a major attraction.
