“RESTORATIVE ENVIRONMENTS”
A report by the American Psychological Association draws on the work of a number of experts, all of which point to the fact that contact with Nature is vital for our mental and emotional health, and for optimal performance.
Psychologist Dr Rachel Kaplan and Stephen Kaplan, professor in the departments of psychology and computer science, both at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, are credited with being instrumental in bringing this information to light, and inspiring other researchers to look into the effect of Nature on our well-being.
