If you want a high-class OLED panel, governed by a high-quality processing engine, with a stack of connectivity options and a broad (and straightforward) smart TV interface, then say hello to the JZ1000. Panasonic has created an OLED TV ready to meet its rivals head-on.

The JZ1000 is governed and controlled by the same ‘HCX Pro AI’ processing engine as its more expensive sibling the JZ2000, boasts HLG, HDR10, HDR10+ Adaptive and Dolby Vision and an array of connectivity options. Alongside Bluetooth and dual-band Wi-Fi, you get four HDMI inputs that support the HDMI 2.1-tastic Auto Low Latency Mode, while two of them also incorporate 4K High Frame Rate and Variable Refresh Rate too.

There are three USB inputs, an Ethernet socket, three aerial binding posts for the twin onboard TV tuners, and a CI card slot. Outputs are restricted to a single digital optical socket and a 3.5mm analogue output that can be switched between line-level for headphones or pre-amp level for a subwoofer.
