“V” Everywhere

A first-time mum demands more from a vehicle, as in everything plus versatility, which she gets from the Mercedes V-class

Versatility is something I’ve always aspired for. Growing up, I was a softball player, a member of the swimming varsity team, played the piano and took painting lessons. As an adult, I’ve taken on multiple careers as a lawyer, TV host, motoring journalist and law professor while pursuing hobbies like scuba diving, wakeboarding and biking. A significant thing I’ve learnt about versatility is, it’s not just about wanting to do many things. It’s about being capable and equipped to do them.

As a first-time parent of a two-month-old baby, the term versatility for me reached a new level of significance. Juggling my career and personal life became more challenging with the additional demands on my time and attention. I realised that nurturing a versatile lifestyle also requires a versatile vehicle.

While V-class is the label indicating the Mercedes Benz vehicle type (ie, vans/mini-vans), the “V” might as well stand for “Versatility”. The MB V-class lives up to its claim of being “the right solution for everyone and every situation”.

The V-Class is elegant and stylish, defying the “utility” or bland look often embodied by vehicles in the van/ mini-van segment. But the V-class goes beyond brand recognition in imparting luxury to its users. Its powerful engine, spaciousness, and reconfigurable seats make the V-class a versatile companion for work, family trips, or athletic pursuits.
