Zooming in on just three watches that deliver real value and might be significant in the years to come.
BaselWorld, the leading event for the watch industry has come and gone. Many interesting pieces were unveiled at the show and a number of those are worth singling out. In this write-up, I have chosen three pieces that I believe will appeal to collectors who are not into “bells and whistles” but appreciate a watch’s practicality and wearability for work or play.
Do note that this is not an in-depth review by any means. Rather these are personal highlights, zooming into some interesting features of the watches selected. (A number of these are also in our Basel Report, for those seeking more information – Ed)
My choices here are from Grand Seiko, Tudor, and Sinn. While I would not call these value propositions, but they can be considered quality timepieces at reasonable prices.
1) Grand Seiko – SBGW253 (Steel)
